Alberton SPCA visits Little Angel’s Nursery School

Alberton SPCA gave learners of Little Angel’s Nursery School an informative presentation during their visit on March 4.

Learners of Little Angel’s Nursery School were happy to receive a visit from Alberton SPCA on March 4.

The SPCA was asked to visit the school in light of the school’s week theme Pets. Children were given an informative slide show presentation.

They had an opportunity to be taught more about the importance of caring for a pet, the job function of the SPCA and reporting cases of abuse to animals.

Inspector Sipho Letsoalo and Khentsani Mabaso of Alberton SPCA also talked about the importance of adopting rather than promoting breeding.

As a school, they also collected dog and cat food for furry friends and contributed towards their gratitude to the shelter.

Celeste Pereira, owner of Little Angel’s Nursery School, thanked the SPCA and stated it takes nothing away from a human to be kind to an animal.
