7 Niche Community Market is a diverse group of creative sellers and food traders. The market is open every Saturday at the Walkerville showgrounds from 9am to 2pm. Stall holders sell products like honey, jams, handmade natural soaps, plants, fresh produce, aloe creams, cookies and biscuits, biltong, koeksisters, fudge and candy floss, as well as a variety of crafted goods. Fresh food vendors include Asian food, boerewors rolls, vetkoek and Indian food. Pop in at the gin bar, enjoy craft beer and ciders and just chill out. The market is pet friendly. The market is much more than a collection of stalls and more of an outdoor supermarket with something for all. The market mixes food, entertainment and proximity with a retro-chic style to celebrate the history of the region. The official opening of the farmers’ market takes place at the end of September.
