Calling all junior hockey players
The Golden Spartans will compete in u-12, u-13 and u-14 section of the inaugural Hockey Junction Southside Cup.
Golden Spartans is calling all junior hockey players in Johannesburg South and Alberton to join them.
The launch is taking place on September 19 from 11am at Meyersdal Action Sports Arena. The Golden Spartans will compete in u-12, u-13 and u-14 sections of the inaugural Hockey Junction Southside Cup.
Michael Richards, founding member and president said: “The objective of the Golden Spartans is to grow junior hockey in the south of Johannesburg.
“We want to focus on developing young hockey talent. The exciting part is that the juniors will compete in the Hockey Junction Cup of 2020. The tournament will take place in October/November and will consists of eight franchises.
“We therefore invite all junior hockey players. It does not matter whether they are beginners or advanced players, we invite all junior hockey players from the south to join the Golden Spartans.”
