Join the fun challenge for #ReboundForRelief

Proceeds from ticket sales will go towards a non-profit dedicated to keeping girls in school through the distribution of feminine hygiene products.

The Tramps SA team is at it again and you are invited to join in the fun and the challenge on August 1.

They are gearing up for another round of #ReboundForRelief kick-off with a worldwide invitation to all of you to join them in raising money for the distribution of feminine hygiene products to girls in under privileged areas of South Africa at the beginning of Women’s Month.

Yes, worldwide since their classes are now also online and they will be reaching out far and wide to make this one of the biggest #ReboundForRelief campaigns.

Tramps SA is a fitness enterprise where exercise is done on a rebounder (or not) and suitable for all fitness levels.
Their previous #ReboundForRelief was in conjunction with Mulbarton Pick n Pay where they matched the proceeds from their class for the day to purchase 33 food parcels for those in need during lockdown.

This time round, the proceeds from every single ticket purchased for this event will be deposited into the account of Isithunzi Sabo Bonke, a non-profit organisation that is dedicated to keeping girls in school through the distribution of feminine hygiene products and period care packs to girls, ensuring that they don’t have to miss a day of school due to their time of the month.

“We will host an online rebounding event which will be available to any one with or without a rebounder for a fitness fun-fest all the same,” said Samantha Eve and Michelle Ashkettle, founders of Tramps SA.

Once you have purchased your ticket you will be emailed with a link to join the class.

“If you don’t want to join in the actual event you are absolutely free to either purchase a ticket to support us or make a donation of your own choice, both ticket types are available on our event page.”

Who is Isithunzi Sabo Bonke

We are a group of men and women focussed on uplifting the young women of South Africa. Menstruation-related problems are a gender-based barrier to girls’ education in South Africa. In our current climate, there are many obstacles in the way that children may miss school – but menstruation should not be one of these reasons.

In many African communities, there are stigmas and taboos around menstruation that lead to so many young girls not receiving information about puberty and often being completely unprepared when they have their first period.
