GALLERY: Domestic Watch hosts a Christmas lunch

A delicious three-course meal was served to the members of Domestic Watch at Golden Falls Spur.

DOMESTIC Watch held their year-end Christmas lunch at Golden Falls Spur on November 21.

They celebrated the 10 lessons that were taught to domestic workers and gardeners throughout the year.

These lessons aimed to equip them with the knowledge to protect themselves and the families they work for.

The event was held to thank members for attending throughout the year, and in honour of attendees, coordinators, security companies, the South African Police Service (SAPS) and the Community Policing Forum (CPF).

Members from Domestic Watch from Linmeyer Sector Two, Moffat View, Glenvista and Mondeor came together to celebrate.

Apart from the lunch, the members were each treated to a canvas Pick n Pay shopping bag filled with an assortment of groceries, a certificate for their attendance, Christmas crackers, cupcakes and cold drinks.

Sponsors for the event were: Sasol Garage Swartgoud, Steers on Columbine, Pick n Pay Mulbarton, Quick Spar Ridgeway, Glenvista Community Forum, Caxton Newspapers, Linmeyer Forum, Roger Amaral, Engen Garage Columbine, Glenvista Shopping Centre, Linhill Football Club, Mondeor Home Bake, Remax Real Estate, Skymark Cleaning, Tatum Amaral, SOS, National and Fidelity ADT and the Linmeyer Awareness Group.

Domestic Watch is grateful for the support from all of their sponsors, who made it possible not only to impart invaluable knowledge, but also for their members to celebrate a wonderful Christmas lunch.
