Leslie Hastings from the South, will be celebrating his 90th birthday on May 16
“Happy 90th birthday to a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather,” said the family.
LESLIE Kenneth Hastings, a resident of the South, will be celebrating his 90th birthday on May 16.
Les, as he is fondly known, was born in 1929 to parents Joseph and Ethel Hastings. He was the youngest of four children with three older sisters – Margery, Audrey and Hazel. Les wasn’t the only star born in 1929, Martin Luther King JR, Grace Kelly, Audrey Hepburn, Jacky O, Bob Newhart and Dick Clark were also born that same year.
Les married Joan on March 13, 1954, and they had three beautiful children – Dianne, Glenda and Graham. From there blossomed a beautiful and loving family.
Their children married wonderful and kind partners with Dianne marrying Graham Low, Glenda married Kevin Kent and Graham committed to Jenny Pappas. They have seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
“Happy 90th birthday to a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather,” said the family.
