This little boy is fighting an Ependymoma brain tumour and urgently needs Proton Beam therapy.
A SUPERHERO fund-raiser will be held on March 16 and 17 for Luciano Dias (4).
This little boy is fighting an Ependymoma brain tumour and urgently needs Proton Beam therapy. Since 2016, Luciano has had four brain operations to remove the tumours, but requires Proton Beam Therapy to stop the residual tumour from growing back. Currently, Luciano has a 2cm brain tumour that has grown back which requires Proton Beam treatment. Doctors have advised they are unable to operate again, so family and friends are busy with fund-raisers to help him.
The RECORD has been doing articles about him since 2016. The event will take place at The Playhouse at 40 Heidelberg Avenue, Newmarket. All funds raised will go towards him. There will be unlimited animal interactions and unlimited play time, so bring the children for a fun day out. Tickets cost R180 per child and R20 per adult. Come and support Luciano.
