Flower power at Circle of Friends

“If there’s one thing our mornings do is bring us together, which in itself is a wonderful way to spend the morning.”

HOW well do you know your flowers and their leaves? This was the subject of a competition for the ladies of Circle of Friends at their meeting on February 19.

The ladies were shown pictures of flowers and their leaves separately and had to match them up correctly. What looked quite easy was actually jolly difficult, but good fun.

Over tea and cake, the group remembered an “old” member of the group, Pat Fynes-Clinton, who died last week.

“We enjoyed her company greatly and send our condolences to her family,” they said.

“If there’s one thing our mornings do is bring us together, which in itself is a wonderful way to spend the morning,” they all agreed.
