Elite Fitness Challenge a great success

“It was a privilege to reach out and motivate so many community members.”

RECENTLY, an Elite Fitness Challenge was held at the Sports & Fitness Club at Linroy Street, Steeledale. This was both of the Sports & Fitness Club branches’ year-end event, where they came together with the surrounding community and anyone could participate for free.

On behalf of the club, fitness fanatic Otis Blume commented: “The idea behind this event was to promote our gym, connect with the community and encourage people to live a healthy lifestyle. Even better, an important cause gets some much-needed support from this event as well.”

This event was in aid of the Meals On Wheels initiative. It was kindly sponsored by several organisations apart from Sport & Fitness Club, such as Herbalife, Decathlon and Sportsman’s Warehouse.

Sponsored items at this event included chilled water and energy drinks, orange slices, pre-workout and supplement tastes and free wellness evaluations (such as body scans, body fat percentage, visceral fat, body age and bone mass evaluations).

GET UP, BE ACTIVE: Community members were encouraged to live healthy, active lifestyles at the Sports & Fitness Club’s Elite Fitness Challenge.

“It was a privilege to reach out and motivate so many community members,” Otis enthused.

“Thank you to everyone who made this event possible, and for those who participated. We look forward to next year’s fitness challenges.”

CHALLENGE ACCEPTED: Sweat was all around as the trainer and participants challenged themselves with a long spinning class.
