World Aids Day event in Rosettenville

Drug abuse - get all the information you need.

SANCA Central Rand is inviting the community to join them for a World Aids Day event on November 30 from 9am at 11 Ruby Street (corner Verona Street), Rosettenville.

Sanca felt the need to host the event, not only to create awareness on HIV/Aids but also paying attention to other social issues experienced by the community, which are substance abuse, teenage pregnancy and unplanned pregnancy.

With the event, Sanca aims to create awareness by empowering the community, equipping them with information on where they can reach out for assistance and also conducting free blood pressure, HIV/Aids and diabetes tests.

Come along and get all the information you need, meet your ward councillor, listen to motivational speakers, local performers and an opening prayer by Pastor Jack Chirwa.

For more information contact social worker Lungile Sibisi or prevention and awareness coordinator Sinbongile Vabaza on 011 434 5134.
