Learn all you can about diabetes
There will be speakers sharing their knowledge as well as lucky draws and refreshments.
ON November 10 there will be a Diabetic Open Day hosted at the Greek Hall, 11 Penzance Street, New Redruth. Here, everyone is welcome to come and learn all there is to know about diabetes.
Diabetes is a group of diseases that result in too much sugar in the blood, either because insulin production is inadequate, or because the body’s cells do not respond properly to insulin, or both. According to the World Health Organisation (WHO), over 422 million people suffer from diabetes worldwide and this number is still on the rise.
Be sure to attend the Diabetic Open Day where there will be speakers sharing their knowledge as well as lucky draws and refreshments.
