It also teaches girls that they must always believe in themselves, and then they’ll be the greatest.MULAN: Unlike in most fairytale movies, the lead character does not rely on a man to save or rescue her from danger – she does it herself. Once again, girls will see a woman fighting female stereotypes. This is a great watch for young and old alike.BEND IT LIKE BECKHAM: This is a great mommy-daughter movie option. The two main characters are fantastic sportswomen and friends. Together, they fight female stereotypes and prove themselves to be just as great as men.WILD: This is a good flick for those going through a tough time. This inspirational story follows a heroin addict who lost her mother and her marriage. She decides to get through her pain by walking 1 000 miles across the Pacific Crest Trail.
