Step Print Dance Studio dancers makes JHB South proud

Step Print Dance Studios have been training several students over the past few years.

STEP Print dance students are ready and excited to enter their second international dance competition, representing the South of Johannesburg.

With new dance students that have joined Step Print Dance Studio from Sir John Adamson High School (SJA), the competition promises to be an exhilarating one for the team.

The studio director and choreographer, Thami Ncube, who has been teaching dance for almost a decade, is working overtime to ensure the team secures a top three position in the competition.

“We are grateful to have secured the third position this past March in such a prestigious event like DanceStar. To me this means that if we maintain the same focus and ambition as we did before, we could probably come first this time around and have an all-expenses-paid trip overseas to Croatia representing South Africa,” he said.

Thami said he would like to thank SJA principal Michael Meyers and some teachers for allowing the youngsters to express themselves through dancing and performing.

The dancers would also like to thank the South African Body of Dance (SABOD) for sponsoring Step Print students from St Mary’s Home, as well as Nkosi’s Haven with sponsored tickets to view their event.
