Anton Gilmore has fought for 10 years to sustain the Aidan Foundation

On July 20, the well-known boxer will once again be in the boxing ring to raise awareness for his son’s health issues. The event will start at 6pm at 15 Fountain Road, Eastleigh, Edenvale.

ANTON Gilmore has fought for 10 years to sustain the Aidan Foundation, not only for his son Aidan but for all children suffering from tuberous sclerosis.

On July 20, the well-known boxer will once again be in the boxing ring to raise awareness for his son’s health issues. The event will start at 6pm at 15 Fountain Road, Eastleigh, Edenvale.

Aidan has a tumour based disease called tuberous sclerosis which means he has 20 plus brain tumours, skin, heart and kidney tumours. At the age of 38, Anton took the big step back into the ring again at a gala event which was staged at Emperors Palace on AfricanRing Promotor’s, Jeff Ellis, event. He fought Thompson Mokwana and went on to win with a point’s decision over six rounds.

This time around Thompson Mokwana and Michael Mokoena will be seen in the main fight for the Aidan Foundation while Gilmore will also feature in one of the fights.
