Mulbarton power outage
Carbon contamination has spread right through power distributors. The panels and complete system need to be taken apart to clean with dry ice.
CITY POWER is experiencing an unplanned power outage at the Mulbarton Substation, technicians have been dispatched, currently on site working towards power restoration.
I have been to the substation and yes it’s not good. They have removed the switch that caugh Fire. The switch is massive. When I walked in you could see the smoke damage from the fire. They will have to open all of the switch boxes and clean them out. The spot could cause a flash and then another could take out the entire sub. We will not have power today. So if the status quo changes, I’ll let you know.

Apologies for the delays in restoring power in Randpark Ridge, we currently have 18 load centers that are off due to delays caused by lack of material, operators are now working on repairs and power is expected to be restored by end of the day.^MM
