What would you do if your child was kidnapped?

The CHRONICLE took to the streets and interviewed a few residents on what they would do if their child were kidnapped.

Following the continuous cases of child kidnapping around the South, the CHRONICLE took to the streets and interviewed a few residents on what they would do if their child were kidnapped.

ASHLEIGH FOURIE “I don’t have children of my own but as a teacher, I work with children every day and I would be terrified if my child were to be kidnapped. Firstly I would report the matter to the police and while the police investigate, I will not rest till my child is found. One can even go the extra mile and risk their own life for the safety of their child.”
DEBBIE KAPOOCK “Having your child kidnapped is the worst nightmare ever, I don’t think I would be able to sleep. First and foremost, I will go everywhere possible in search of my child, exactly the way Halle Berry did in Kidnap the movie when her son was kidnapped.”
LUMKILE MKHALIPHI “I am a father of two children, a son and a daughter, and if either of them were kidnapped I would first report the matter to the police, print out as many flyers of a missing person as possible. God knows my life would be shattered, I don’t think I would even function properly with my child missing.”
ANNA DUMA “I can’t imagine my child being kidnapped, it’s terrible. I believe with the police you have report a person missing only after 24 hours but I cannot wait for all those hours once my child has gone missing. I will do anything possible to ensure my child is brought back home safe and sound.
