The Dance World Cup is a globally well-known competition, and this time around dancers who qualified will be going to Barcelona to representing the country. First-time competition entrees from Step Print Dance Studio, Kopano Rabotapi (14), Thando Sithole (13) and Sibongenhle Mkhabela (12) were extremely nervous. Nevertheless, Step Print dancers had been practising their routines daily and gave it their best shot, resulting in a solid third place position.

“What a performance by the Step Print dancers. Congratulations on your achievements champs and know that we are very proud. Thank you Zola and Thami for a job well done,” said Khutso Sithole, who is a proud parent to one of the dancers, Thando Sithole.

Thami spoke of how humbled he is by the dancers’ position and says he believes the sky is the limit for them.

“We are honored to have our students in such a position seeing that there were over 1 000 dancers that entered this year in South Africa. We look forward to competing internationally with over 3 000 other competitors in Spain this June. We wish this young talent nothing but the best in their current and future endeavors,” said Zola.
