TWO suspects aged 18 and 41 were arrested in connection with a house break-in in Styx Street, Comptonville, on March 12.
According to Mondeor SAPS communications officer Captain Nokulunga Dube, the complainant returned to the house and saw that it had been broken into and household items were stolen.
Mondeor SAPS’ investigation led to the arrest of a suspect who confessed the location of where he had sold the items in Naturena.
Mondeor SAPS are appealing to the community to refrain from buying stolen goods as the buyers will also be found guilty of a crime.
Successes
Mondeor SAPS made the following arrests between March 20 and 27: eight for possession of dagga, seven for theft, five for shoplifting, four for assault and interfering with police duties, four for possession of a hijacked motor vehicle, three for common assault, one for house break-in and theft and one for possession of stolen property.
