Local lady launches three books

‘Romance is not overrated’ is the motto Jo-Anne Joseph lives and writes by.

JO-ANNE Joseph (33), the proud author of three novels, held a special launch and book-signing at Mall of the South on Saturday, December 9.

Joined by her best friend Taryn Karrian and husband Brian Joseph, Jo-Anne promoted, signed and sold her three titles at the event. Her first book, Infinity, was released on September 30, followed by Siren on November 30, with Serendipity already out but officially launching on December 15.

“I have been casually writing since I was 11 years old and only last year I decided to share my stories to pass on the magic to others,” the author said. “It has always been a life-long dream to write and it is my passion. I love reading and getting people to read.”

Joseph was born in Cape Town but grew up in Pietermaritzburg. In 2001 she moved to Turffontein and since then has always lived in the South. By day she is a corporate governance professional in Glenvista and she writes by night.

“So far I am so grateful and fortunate for the support I have been getting from family and friends,” she said. “I eventually plan to help other aspiring authors to get their work out there. It’s difficult for independent authors but I hope to offer mentorship and share my knowledge by creating a network for authors.”

Joseph is an independent self-published author and her books are available through Amazon in e-book and paperback format. To find out more about her romance novels and to get your own copy to experience the magic, visit joannejosephauthor.com or find her on Facebook or Instagram.
