Matric farewell clothing needed for girls and boys

We are appealing to the generosity of the people of the South to please assist with the following still needed for the youngsters for their matric dance.

Shoes have been donated mainly by Sole2Sole, for which we thank Zita Gouveia who has been handling all the shoe collections and deliveries. We urgently need more jewellery, evening bags and makeup for the young ladies. Thankfully we’ve received a fair amount of dresses, but more are always needed.

Currently, we have only received one suit and there are many young men who are in need of them, as well as shirts, ties, shoes and socks. If you can assist, please phone me on 071 355 0426.

Eunise Wade, my granddaughter, will be willing to apply the makeup and style the hair of the young ladies but first, we need to get makeup and items needed associated with this. The matric dance will be taking place soon, so everything is quite urgent.

Also concerning the revamp of Areyeng home for the disabled, we are proud to say we have done lots of work with the help of a few of the seniors from Reuven, who are assisting with the revamp there. The home was on the verge of being closed down and the revamp has been going well. The residents are happy with the huge amount of love they are receiving, enjoying delicious lunches, and so much more. Special thanks to my sponsor who donated the blankets, the women who helped to make curtains and bought new pillows for the residents, as well as everything else. Bless you, all.
