VISAREND Angling Club held their July competition at Steenkoolspruit Dam on July 8 and 9, with record-breaking results.
Junior winner: Evan Ogden with four fish of 4.0kg; second: Tiaan van Rensburg.
Veteran winner: Bennie Bezuidenhout with seven fish of 14.55kg; second: Roelf du Bruyn and third: Clive Brook.
Ladies winner: Natasha Smit with 18 fish of 25.668kg; second: Tanya Stuwig; third: Karen Nel.
Senior winner: Arrie van Wyk with 19 fish of 23.01kg; second: Johan Clark; third: Guys Wagner.
Bonus fish: Ben Roets (visitor): 7.1kg Carp, Bennie Bezuidenhout: 5.9kg Carp and Natasha Smit: 4.3kg Carp.
Doubles winners: Arrie van Wyk and Freek Bezuidenhout.
Overall Winner: Arrie van Wyk.
The next competition will take place on August 12 and 13. Visitors are welcome.
