Church opens primary school

Enrollment time is here and spaces are limited.

NOVA Vida Assembly of God on 14 Bob Street Regents Park is excited to announce the opening of its Christian primary school – Arise and Shine College.

The college’s application for registration was submitted to the GDE earlier this year and alterations are at present underway on their premises to accommodate the additional classes needed.

Pastor Abel, the spiritual director of the college, said this is an answer to prayer and they now have the opportunity to sow into education in the community.

Karen van den Oever, who has been in education for 32 years (for 19 of those years she was the principal at Highveld Primary), has been appointed by the church as operational director of the college because of her wealth of experience in education.

The college has applied for registration to run classes from Grade R to Grade Seven and 2018 will see the opening of two Grade R and two Grade One classes. Class sizes are 15 in Grade R and between 20 and 25 in the Grade One classes.

Enrollment time is here and spaces are limited. Contact Arise and Shine College at ariseshinecollege@gmail.com should you require more information or should you wish to request application forms.
