Hijackings under the spotlight at CPF meeting

The guest speaker for the evening was Richard Brusso who works with ADT and specialises in hijackings.

THE Mondeor Community Policing Forum (CPF) recently held a meeting at Covenant College to discuss the growing issue of hijackings in the area.

The meeting saw representatives from Fidelity ADT, the VCU (victim support unit), the sector 3 community policing forum patrollers and Mondeor SAPS gather to educate members of the public on how to prevent hijackings.

Clive Wannenburg, of the CPF, provided the CHRONICLE with valuable insights into hijackings as well as tips on how to be more aware and vigilant of your surroundings.

The guest speaker for the evening was Richard Brussow, founder of the National Hijack Prevention Academy. The meeting proved to be a fruitful one as many statistics and insights into Johannesburg hijackings were given.
