Well, holidays are over for another month, so it’s back to full working weeks. It’s going to seem strange but we’ll get used to it, as we get used to everything else.
Lusito Land has been and gone for another year and most of the people I’ve spoken to say they enjoyed the new venue, although it was dusty; but this was only to be expected, I think, and apparently the food was delicious as usual, the entertainment was fantastic and the Caipirinhas were divine.
I am already looking forward to Lusito Land 2018.
Last minute Mother’s Day gifts
If you still haven’t decided on what to buy for your mom, flowers or plants are always a winner, as well as boxed chocolates, a book voucher (Exclusive Books, Bargain Books), her favourite CD, a spa voucher so she can enjoy being spoilt, a bottle of sparkling wine. Or how about treating her to a movie evening (Gold Reef City or Nu Metro The Glen)?
To all the wonderful moms out there, I hope you enjoy a beautiful Mother’s Day with your children. I don’t think there can be any greater gift than spending time with them on your special day. In today’s busy life we don’t always have the time to see our children that often and even though gifts are lovely to receive, I’d rather get a huge hug and thanks for being a great mom!
