Epic Foundation desperately needs funds
Epic Foundation needs your urgent support to help them continue helping others.
THE EPIC Foundation is in dire need of funding to keep itself running. With only one month’s rent in their account and not enough donations to keep their comfort pack project going, the foundation is pleading for support.
After many promises of funding failed to come through, Epic Foundation is in the process of applying for Lotto funding, which could take a few months – in the event that the application is successful.

The government will unfortunately not give any funding, as the foundation is not registered as an NPO with the Department of Social Development but as an NPC with the Commissioner of Companies and Intellectual Properties Commission.
The foundation needs:
• Support with funding for the premises or sponsored premises. “Currently we have to pay full rental for the premises we are using. This is our most urgent need – without our premises we cannot run our projects,” said Alta McMaster of the Epic Foundation.
• Support with funding for projects, in particular the Comfort Pack Project, since there is an urgent need for the contents of the comfort packs.
• Support with donations of items for the Comfort Pack Project such as body lotion, bottled water, brown paper bags, chips, colouring-in books and pencils, deodorant, face cloths and soap, hair brushes, hair elastics and clips, lip balm, notebooks and pens, plasters, sanitary towels, shampoo, soft toys, surgical gloves, sweets, tissues, toothbrushes and toothpaste, underwear (for women, men, boys and girls – all ages, all sizes), Vaseline and wet wipes.
The foundation still has its 50/50 raffle ticket initiative running, but sales have been slow. Read more here: https://www.facebook.com/theepicfoundation/.
