Five weeks to Christmas…and counting! And I’m beginning to feel more and more like I’m back in the UK with the freaky weather we’ve been experiencing. We wanted rain and we’ve certainly had quite a bit. Let’s hope though it’s going into the Vaal Dam catchment area.
Christmas eats at Cherubs
I popped into Cherubs Home Industries and Coffee Shop last week, situated in De Marionette Shopping Centre, corner Michelle Avenue and Blue Crane Drive, Meyersdal.
They are selling the most beautifully decorated little Christmas biscuits (angels, stars, Father Christmas’s, snowmen, Christmas trees, snowflakes, etc) in shortbread or gingerbread, which are absolutely delightful. They range in price from R10 upwards and will make gorgeous little gifts for children.
I’ve ordered some for the festive season and I’m sure the little ones in our family will just love them. Biscuits are made to order and they can be baked and iced for absolutely any event. Phone 011 867 6160 and speak to Bella Ramos.

Glenvista Shopping Centre is undergoing a revamp to give shoppers a better shopping experience. New shiny tiles have been put down and there will be new lighting as well as a feature wall, which will be on the large wall next to Clicks. Keep an eye out and I’m sure the Christmas decorations will be up soon which will be sure to put you in a merry mood!
