JMPD officers arrested three armed suspected robbers on Tuesday night, October 25, after a high-speed chase.
The suspects were arrested in Chiawelo, Soweto, after a high-speed chase ensued from Klipspruit West where officers tried to stop a vehicle that was linked to a house robbery in Mondeor earlier that day.
“The suspects were armed when they were arrested,” said Edna Mamonyane for Public Safety.
Officers recovered some stolen items which included a lady’s handbag, a plasma TV and remote control.
