Karatekas excel at National Women’s Cup

Karatekas excel at nationals.

THE SANDRA Louw Karate (SLK) team celebrated Woman’s Month, in August, by participating in the National Women’s Cup and proudly bringing back 42 medals for Gauteng and their dojo.

The tournament consisted of women only individual events, along with women’s and men’s team events. It was a huge success and a step forward for karate unity and growth.

Sensei Sandra Louw was recognised as one of the most influential women in karate in SA, and has held the only record and title of All Styles World Champion since 1994.

Sensei Sandra has dedicated her life to this art and to helping all types of athletes. All her students were on top form at the Women’s Cup and their performance was outstanding.

Congratulations to Team SLK!
