Local swimmers make waves at championship
The club's swimmers took an astounding 227.77 seconds off their times.
YOUNG swimmers from the Perfect Stroke Swimming Club recently competed at the junior and senior Gauteng Shortcourse Championships where all their winter training and hard work certainly paid off.
The Gauteng Championships is a provincial ranking gala, but with all visiting provinces, Eastern Gauteng Aquatics (EGA) and Northern Tigers Swimming (NTS) attending these galas too, it became really competitive.
Perfect Stroke Swimming Club walked away with a total of eight gold, 11 silver and two bronze medals, as well as 43 top 10 performances.
Swimmers from Perfect Stroke Swimming Club who placed in the top 10 in their age groups are: Brad Gunther, Leah White, Kiana Linklater, Jaime Rademeyer, Gabriela Scrooby, Erin Sherwood and Kasia Szejwallo-Graney.
Altogether, the club’s swimmers took an astounding 227.77 seconds off their personal best times throughout the gala. The club is proud of all their swimmers.
