Ekurhuleni local election results, Twitter has its say

The IEC continues to release election results, the ANC is leading in the Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Municipality with 44.49% of votes and six seats. The DA following close behind with 41.21% of the votes and holding six seats. The EFF is trailing far behind with 8.92% votes and no seats.

As it stands, only 48% of the votes have been calculated and 12 of the 224 seats have been allocated.

DA – 41.53%
EFF – 8.33%
