Voters share their views on the local elections.

Local Government Elections 2016 has been smooth sailing in the South with Meyersdal and Soweto residents citing that it has been peaceful and that there’s been no drama.

Here is what some locals had to say about the local elections:

“The process took about an hour, but no drama or complications that I could see.” On what he looks for in a leader: “I base my vote on the change you want to see in your community and what that party’s values are compared to yours. Fighting corruption is a big deal for me”.

“The lines were long, but it flowed quite well. It seemed to be efficient and organised, so no hiccups or problems that I could see”
