Great experience on Mandela Day

All representatives met at the Chris Hani Baragwanath CHOC ward where the official presentations took place.

Southgate Mall treated children from the Childhood Cancer Foundation (CHOC) to a cinema experience on Mandela Day.

This year Southgate Mall, with its partners in caring, the Bokang Mosia Foundation, Ster Kinekor, the Bara Taxi Association and Southgate Standard Bank, gave their combined 67 minutes of compassion to the children at Choc-Bara (Chris Hani Baragwanath CHOC ward, adopted by the Bokang Mosia Foundation).

This secured the children an awesome cinema experience (where they watched ‘Finding Dory’), lunch at Wimpy, 83 blankets from CSIR Anglo Gold Ashanti and Aspen Pharmaceuticals and a state of the art washing machine for their facility, compliments of Standard Bank.

All representatives met at the Chris Hani Baragwanath CHOC ward where the official presentations took place. Blankets were distributed to each beneficiary in the ward before the children were transported, compliments of the Baragwanath Taxi Association, to Southgate Mall for an afternoon of fun and excitement.

Southgate Mall would like to thank all its partners for helping to give the children a memorable afternoon.
