In addition to the reporting of the Association’s business, financial status and activities during the period March 2015 to February 2016, a presentation will be made by Ms Wendy Collinson, who is the Project Excutant of the Wildlife and Roads Project for the Endangered Wildlife Trust.
NOTICE is hereby given that the KlipSA AGM will be held on Thursday, August 11, at Klipriviersberg Nature Reserve, Entrance Precinct, Peggy Vera Road, Kibler Park, commencing 18:00 for 18:30.
In addition to the reporting of the Association’s business, financial status and activities during the period March 2015 to February 2016, a presentation will be made by Ms Wendy Collinson, who is the Project Excutant of the Wildlife and Roads Project for the Endangered Wildlife Trust.
Wendy will share a presentation on the work being done to make the country’s roads safer for both wildlife and road users. The project has been gathering research on roadkill on regional and national roads since 2010 and recently including protected areas. This research is to understand which species is most at risk and to use the information to propose preventative measures to reduce roadkill.
You are invited to attend this KlipSA AGM and to find out how you can participate in the Wildlife and Roads project and to submit roadkill data.
Refreshments will be available. Please RSVP to chairman@klipsa.org.za before Friday, August 5, for catering purposes.
