Ultra Music Festival, the World’s Premier Electronic Music event, is an internationally renowned event that was launched in 1999 in Miami, Florida.
Ultra South Africa was brought to the country in 2014 by Electric Music and the inaugural festival attracted a total of 40 000 dance music lovers. The 2015 edition saw 50 000 Ultranauts sell out the two-city festival in record time and in 2016 Ultra SA will double in size to become a 2-day event (in both Johannesburg and Cape Town), featuring an exciting lineup of local and international electronic music heavyweights.
2016 sees Ultra double in size to become a 2-day, 2-city event with the Phase 1 lineup featuring the likes of Skrillex, Zedd, Tiësto, Afrojack, Seth Troxler, Dash Berlin, Galantis, The Martinez Brothers, and more…
