MamaMagic baby born at Netcare Mulbarton

“I couldn’t believe it when I was announced the winner,” said Atiyyah.

MULBARTON – Atiyyah Salojee, gave birth to her baby son, Uthmaan Ahmed Moosa, at Netcare Mulbarton Hospital on Wednesday August 26, after winning the MamaMagic competition at The Baby Expo, which took place at the Coca-Cola Dome in Johannesburg in May.

As part of the Expo’s Baby on Board all-expenses-paid pregnancy competition, Netcare Mulbarton Hospital sponsored a free delivery to the value of R50 000, which  included the hospital stay; services of a gynaecologist, anaesthetist, paediatrician and their midwives; as well as a range of ante- and post-natal care services.

As a  mom-to-be at Netcare Mulbarton Hospital she also received the Netcare Stork’s Nest Maternity Passport, which included a free 3D live scan between 28 and 32 weeks of pregnancy, a baby gift bag full of goodies to assist her on this new journey, placement of baby’s photograph on the Netcute website, the birth registration process, baby’s first immunisation in the ward and the first ‘Well Baby’ clinic check-up.

Father of Uthmaan, Ahmed Moosa and Atiyyah, who are from Palmridge, welcomed their baby into the world weighing a healthy three kg’s. “We would like to thank everyone involved in Uthmaan’s birth and the hospital for the amazing treatment received. All the staff have been absolutely fabulous and our special thanks go to Dr Nosheen Rashid. From the nurses and midwives to management, cleaning staff to security, we have experienced the very best treatment.
