Burglar and shoplifters sentenced to jail

MONDEOR – Four cases investigated by the Mondeor SAPS Detective Branch resulted in successful convictions.

A suspect arrested for shoplifting was recently convicted at the Johannesburg Magistrates Court and handed down a sentence of three years imprisonment.

In another case, a man, also arrested for shoplifting, was sentenced to two years imprisonment in the Johannesburg Magistrates Court.

Both these cases were successfully investigated by Detective Constable Polelo Khumalo.

Mondeor SAPS also arrested a suspect for a 2012 housebreaking and theft case.

The man was convicted to four years imprisonment in the Johannesburg Magistrates Court.

The case was investigated by Detective Sergeant Mokhwiti Magane.

A man was caught and arrested for shoplifting by Mondeor SAPS in April, and the accused was convicted to three years imprisonment in the Johannesburg Magistrates Court.

The case was investigated by Detective Sergeant Shenaaz Roos.
