SOJO Business and Tourism donates to Cotlands

It was indeed a wonderful morning on Tuesday December 9 when SOJO’s CEO Nicky Vakaloudis went along to Cotlands to handover all the toys from the SOJO Christmas in July function.

TURFFONTEIN –  “This year was slightly different at our Christmas in July function. We normally ask all the guests to bring along an educational toy but this year we had toys already made up by Winnie McHenry and Theresa Senekal from Upcycle. They had made teddy bears, bean bags, toy cars, French knitting kits, educational blocks and other toys from recycled materia. R3 500 worth of toys were bought from them and today these are what we are handing over,” said a delighted Nicky.

Kelsley Sharpley (fundraiser Cotlands) said, “These toys are going to be fantastic for the children, who range from birth to six years of age. Some of the toys will also go into our toy libraries and early learning group. Thank you very much to everyone who has made this possible.”
