Residents clean-up Linmeyer
Sophie Avenue, Linmeyer residents became so tired of waiting for the municipality to clean up the mess of dumped rubbish at the bottom of the street, they got stuck in themselves with assistance from Linmeyer Awareness group.
LINMEYER – Owners of four houses in Sophie Street, pay themselves to employ “Mike and his team” to keep the park area clean.
“We still find we have a problem with youngsters from schools in surrounding areas who come to the park area, do wheelies and ruin the grass. They just don’t appreciate how the park is well kept.
“Thanks to Mike and his team and Linmeyer Awareness group for all your hard work. We really appreciate your help,” said Charlotte Kisogloo, from Sophie Avenue, Linmeyer.
