GLENVISTA – Alberton ‘Host’ Lions Club cordially invites you to participate in their Annual Golf Day on May 29 at Glenvista Country Club.
This event will include 18 superlative holes of golf, followed by an evening of music, laughter, fantastic prizes and dinner.
Costs for the day will be as follows: R2 000 per four-ball, R2 000 for advertising on the green, R3 000 for advertising on the tee, R4 000 for advertising on the tee plus a four-ball, R30 000 for full sponsorship of the day, and R10 000 for one third sponsorship of the day.
The R3 000 charge for each tee will afford your company the opportunity to promote their products and services on the day at a very reasonable rate. You may also make use of the opportunity to include a company brochure, any advertising material or company give-aways etc. in the goodie bag to be handed out on arrival. Alternatively you may want to sponsor some of the prizes for the four-balls.
This worthy fund-raiser will afford Alberton Lions Club the opportunity to raise much needed funds for those less fortunate in our community, and we appeal to you to help us in our efforts while enjoying a great day out.
The Eco Circle is an innovative way of growing vegetables in confined spaces. The ultimate aim is to make communities self-sufficient.
Alberton Lions Club in conjunction with the Ekurhuleni Campus in Brackenhurst, Alberton did a vegetable garden project that was a huge success.
A number of students benefited from their hard work planting and maintaining the vegetable garden.
More ground has been prepared this year and a soup kitchen has been opened to enable the hungry students to be fed before going to classes. Without your support Alberton ‘Host’ Lions Club cannot continue to develop and teach sustainability among our community.
