Keeping watch with Domestic Watch

The Domestic Watch meetings have got off to a good start and in the South there have already been four meetings during February.

MONDEOR – At the Mondeor Domestic Watch meeting which was held at Sasol Garage Columbine Avenue on Tuesday February 11, the meeting was attended by domestics and gardeners. “At the beginning of each year the meetings are slightly down on attendance but this usually picks up by March,” said Michelle Pelser, who organises the Mondeor Domestic Watch.

The Domestic Watch meeting talks cost only R30 per attendee and all homeowners are urged to send their domestic workers along, including regular gardeners or handymen they employ. “The lessons are so informative and the knowledge which is learnt at the meetings can save a life. Each month we have a different lesson relating to crime issues and how to safeguard families, domestics and the home itself. Each lesson costs R30 per attendee.

“The next Mondeor meeting will take place at Sasol Garage Columbine Avenue on Tuesday March 11 at 10:00. The Mondeor meetings are held every second Tuesday of the month at Sasol Garage at 10:00 for an hour,” added Michelle. For more information phone Michelle 084 292 9144.
