On August 23 at about 08:25, a 53-year-old woman was shot in front of her gate when returning home from dropping her child off at school.
Upon her return, she was shot several times at the gate of her home in Mondeor.
She was taken to Netcare Union Hospital, where she later died.
A case of murder was opened. The motive of the incident is unknown and no arrests have been made yet.
