St Martin’s hosts Winter Sports Day
A wonderful day packed with winter sports events.
ON May 25, learners from Marian College and Sacred Heart College participated in the St Martin’s Winter Sports Day. The morning consisted of a number of league fixtures and friendly matches in hockey, netball and soccer.
The St Martin’s boys’ first soccer team won their friendly match, beating Sacred Heart 5-2.
The hockey girls had mixed results with a draw against Marian College and a loss to Sacred Heart. The u-15 netball team came out top against Sacred Heart, winning the game 22-15.
There was great camaraderie among the supporters and competitors on the day.
St Martin’s School thanked Marian College and Sacred Heart for participating in the high school Winter Sports Day.
