Being kind is really easy and it doesn’t take any time at all to show a person some kindness, but to the person concerned a little kindness could make a world of difference. So go on, do a kind deed or tell a friend how much they mean to you. Be kind!
Being kind to yourself is also important and some “me” time can go a long way towards making you more productive and feeling positive and will give you a general feeling of well-being and happiness. With this in mind I’ve promised myself some kindness over the next few weeks. So if you see me sailing through the shops with Country Road packages, sitting in a restaurant eating lobster and drinking champagne or hear of me booking into The Michelangelo Hotel for a night or two or a holiday in the Seychelles, you know I’m being very kind to myself. I deserve it, don’t you?
Springing into the shops
Wow! Browsing the shops last week, summery stuff is flowing in and oh boy, have I seen some gorgeous things to purchase. Dresses galore for a change with beautifully feminine frills, wonderful prints and brilliant colours. There are lovely T-shirts and tops, shorts and jackets, trousers and shoes. In fact, right through from baby wear to toddlers, teens, women and men’s wear, you won’t be disappointed. Go take a look yourselves.
Linen lover
As much as I love clothing, I adore linen, duvet covers and accessories and let’s be honest, we spend at least seven out of 24 hours in bed. Well, I do. Woolies has done it again and has the most gorgeous duvet covers and pillowcase sets in stores. Feeling a little tropical, Panama Floral will have you relaxed in minutes, or choose something a little more serene, or upbeat. Go and check out what they have in stock. I’m only looking at this point but I know I won’t be able to resist.
