DRIVERS are advised new Stop Street signs have been erected on the corner of Amanda Avenue and Beryl Avenue, Glenanda North.

The Stop Street signs were put up on Tuesday, June 5 at about 11am and dozens and dozens of drivers have since failed to stop at the signs, going straight through, and quite often at a speed of over 60km/h.

“There’s going to be a fatal accident at this intersection if drivers’ don’t adhere to the stop signs,” said Derick Joubert, deputy chair of Glenanda North Residents Association (GNRS).
