TOYS R Us and Babies R Us Southern Africa are thrilled to announce the opening of its latest chain store at The Glen Shopping Centre, Oakdene, which boasts a R121-million upgrade and redevelopment to its food court
This fantastic combined toy and baby products store, located within the upgraded area, forms part of the retailer’s nationwide expansion and refurbishment project.
The new store promises to optimise the shopping experience with a wide variety of toys and the added benefit of baby products.
“We are delighted to present a new combined toy and baby store to our customers and look forward to providing a wonderfully magical shopping experience,” said Nicole Annells, marketing manager Toys R Us and Babies R Us South Africa.
Located in the heart of Jozi South, The Glen Shopping Centre is conveniently situated offering three levels of exquisite shopping walkways.
The new store features a strong collection of family-friendly brands and aims to create a fun-filled environment for children by providing access to educational and enchanting toys from across the world.
“Our brand is progressing fast and emphasises our vision of continuing to be Africa’s favourite toy and baby store. Our aim is to provide an extensive range of quality products at affordable prices,” added Annells.
Those visiting the new store on opening weekend will have the opportunity to take advantage of incredible opening specials, a meet and greet with the Toys R Us mascot “Geoffrey the Giraffe”, as well as exciting activations and giveaways.
The store will be located at LM028, The Glen, Corner of Orpen and Letaba Road, Oakdene.
