UPDATE: Four injured after car rolls at Comaro

A doctor had stopped on the scene and began to assist the patients.

Four people were left injured this afternoon, including two children, when their light motor vehicle rolled on the N12 eastbound in Oakdene.

ER24 paramedics, along with other services, arrived on the scene to find a light motor vehicle lying across the two left-hand lanes. A man, woman and young child were seated next to their vehicle while the body of a 3-year-old boy was found lying near the fast lane.
A doctor had stopped on the scene and began to assist the patients.

Paramedics assessed the patients and found that the man, woman and one child had sustained minor to moderate injuries. The 3-year-old boy was found to be in a critical condition.

Paramedics treated the patients and provided the young boy with advanced life support interventions. Once treated, the young boy was airlifted by the ER24 Oneplan Helicopter to a nearby private hospital for further care. The remaining patients were transported by ambulance to nearby hospitals.

The exact details surrounding this incident are not yet known but local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
