Seniors on the Go treated to breakfast

“Thanks to Golden Falls Spur who host the breakfast and to Sasol Swartgoud for its sponsorship and Dis-Chem Mondeor."

THE breakfast for Seniors on the Go was held on February 20 at Golden Falls Spur, Columbine Square.

Co-ordinated by Michelle Pelser from Mondeor SAPS, Sector 2 CPF and assisted by Cindy Morujao, Clive Wannenburg and Joy Boswell, the breakfasts are held bi-monthly with guest speakers.

Guest speakers were Arno Bierman from Kenzo Health, who spoke about medication for arthritis, Welma Heyman from Dis-Chem Mondeor and Julie Maule (The Bag Lady) who advised the seniors on how to make their Rand go further.

“Thanks to Golden Falls Spur who host the breakfast and to Sasol Swartgoud for its sponsorship and Dis-Chem Mondeor. The morning is always enjoyed by the seniors and it’s not only an informative morning for them but also a social where they get to meet others and make friends,” said Michelle.

The next breakfast for seniors will be on March 20. “Unfortunately we can only host 100 seniors but if you are interested you can call me on 084 292 9144 and be added to the waiting list,” added Michelle.
