Please help find Harley

If anyone has any information that will help us find Harley, a reward will be given.

A FAMILY is desperate to find their fur-child. Please help.

In 2015, Natalie (surname withheld) suffered a tragedy when her mom passed away and they had to sell the family home in late 2016.

“We had four dogs who all needed to be re-homed as none of us lived in places that were suitable to accommodate pets, specifically Harley, who is a husky/labrador cross with lots of energy and needed a big garden. We found a home for Harley with a family in Walkerville who seemed like a great fit as they appeared to love animals and lived on a plot,” says Natalie.

BEAUTIFUL BOY: The lovable Harley.

According to Natalie, they were told they could visit Harley whenever they wanted and get regular feedback but this is not what has happened.

“The last pictures we received of Harley were in July 2017. Subsequent to this we have received nothing despite repeated requests. Requests of visitation were ignored, requests of pictures were ignored, yet money sent for dog food was still taken.

“There were hints around large ‘vets bills’ as well, which my sister denied because she started to smell a rat after having already paid one large one, which she never received an invoice for,” Natalie says.

PLEASE HELP US FIND HIM.

“Myself and my family directly asked the lady if she still has Harley and we have become quite upset with her and lost our patience. She responded and said he’s ‘fine’ but still no pictures were sent to us and there were always stories and excuses. The family moved from that home around July last year, the same time period that we stopped receiving information on Harley,” adds Natalie.

“Subsequent to my frustration and posting this story on Facebook, we have been informed by the family that Harley died in January. However, it still makes no sense to us because we were being avoided since July last year. We were told he died of congenital heart failure but in all the years we had him, we never had any knowledge of this ‘heart condition’.

“In a nutshell, all we want is the truth. A story that makes sense. We aren’t convinced Harley is dead but if he is really dead, we will accept it – when there is a plausible story that makes sense and adds up. Our family has suffered a great deal of loss and trauma and we need closure.

If anyone has any information that will help us find Harley, a reward will be given.
