Lions Christmas cakes go down a treat

The iced Lions cakes were available and customers were able to choose a festive topper which Wits South branch of The South African Decorators Guild had made.

Iced Lions Christmas cakes were being sold on December 16 in aid of Alberton Lions Club and a beautifully iced Christmas themed cake was up for a raffle.

The iced Lions cakes were available and customers were able to choose a festive topper which Wits South branch of The South African Decorators Guild had made.

To assist Alberton Lions Club in their fund-raising efforts, Eleanor Casey from Wits South branch of The South African Decorators Guild had baked and decorated a rich fruit cake which was being raffled.

The atmosphere at The Glen Shopping Centre, where the ladies were selling the cakes, was festive and fun.

“We are hoping to raise a substantial amount of money from the cakes which will go towards the work Alberton Lions Club does throughout the year,” said Dot van Eeden from the club.
