New team partner for Titans

Multiply Titans secure Aucor as the new team partner.

Multiply Titans have secured Aucor as their new official team partner until the conclusion of the 2017/18 cricket season.

Aucor, “Africa’s auction authority”, has been unveiled as the team partner across all three domestic competitions. Its logo will feature on the Momentum One-Day Cup kit and the Sunfoil Series helmets.

The partnership brings together two high-performing organisations. The Multiply Titans are regarded as one of the most successful domestic franchises in South Africa, having won 13 and shared two trophies since its inception into franchise cricket in 2003. The Centurion franchise is the reigning limited-overs champion, after winning both the CSA T20 Challenge and the Momentum One-Day Cup last season.

Announcing the agreement, Jacques Faul, Titans Cricket CEO, said, “It is a pleasure to welcome Aucor to the Titans family. It’s a great fit, because Aucor is such a great organisation. We are very proud to be partnering with such an established and reputable local company. They are industry leaders and they are passionate about their field and about cricket, so it’s a perfect partnership.

“We have worked closely with Aucor in the last few weeks to tailor a partnership package to not only suit their needs, but to ensure it aligns with the overall vision of the franchise. I would like to extend our gratitude to Aucor for coming on board as we look forward to an exciting summer of cricket at SuperSport Park.”

Fanie Bielderman, Aucor’s managing director, said, “We are looking forward to building this relationship. Hopefully moving forward, it is not just business but a friendship that will be developed between the brands. We know that we will get the right exposure working with the best team in the series.”

The Multiply Titans are currently top of both the Ram Slam T20 Challenge and Sunfoil Series logs. They will begin their defence of the Momentum One-Day Cup on December 22 at SuperSport Park, when they host the VKB Knights.
